Marilyn was born in Oregon and grew up in the Pacific Northwest. She and her three dachshunds live on Vashon Island in Washington along with two griffon pointer mixes and two cats.

Outside her work, Marilyn is an avid photographer, and loves animals and the outdoors. She also enjoys cooking, writes for fun, and has held both a certified scuba diver’s certificate and a private pilot’s license.
